Australia
The Australian Property Institute represents approximately 8,600 property professionals throughout Australia and overseas. API members include residential, commercial and plant and machinery valuers, property advisers, property analysts and fund managers, property lawyers, and property researchers and academics.
The Institute’s primary role is to set and maintain the highest standards of professional practice, education, ethics and professional conduct for its members and the broader property profession.
International
RICS (the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) is an international professional body with over 100,000 members. We represent everything professional and ethical in land, property and construction.
Our members are known as chartered surveyors and are recognised by the designation after their name: MRICS (Member of RICS), FRICS (Fellow of RICS) and AssocRics (Associate of RICS).
We regulate and promote the profession; maintain the highest educational and professional standards; protect clients and consumers via a strict code of ethics; and provide impartial advice, analysis and guidance.
International
IAAO is a nonprofit, educational, and research association. It is a professional membership organization of government assessment officials and others interested in the administration of the property tax. IAAO was founded in 1934, and now has a membership of more than 7,400 members worldwide from governmental, business, and academic communities.
Australia
Incorporated in 1974 the Real Estate Institute of Northern Territory Inc. (REINT) is the peak body representing the Real Estate profession across the Northern Territory. The REINT is a politically non-aligned organisation that provides research and well-informed advice to the Government, Opposition, professional members of the real estate sector, media and the public on a range of issues affecting the property market.
The REINT also provides a comprehensive representative voice for the Real Estate profession in the Northern Territory when it comes to lobbying Government on legislative issues and regulatory matters.
